AIP CMM2017 Full Paper Guidelines

IMPORTANT: Note that articles that do not meet all formal criteria won’t be accepted for review procedure and shall be subject to immediate rejection.

Please use the following guidelines to prepare your paper.

STEP 1
Read the following information:

STEP 2
Download the template package (for Word or LaTeX) from AIP web page: http://aip.scitation.org/apc/authors/download (AIP Conference Proceedings templates).
Use the text processor of your choice and prepare the manuscript following the given above guidelines. LaTeX users please read carefully the ‘guide.pdf’ file included in the zip archive.

STEP 3
After your paper is written, please use the checklist given below before submission to ensure that your article follows all the requirements. Note that articles that do not meet all formal criteria won’t be accepted for review procedure and shall be subject to immediate rejection.

[ ] Manuscript volume is within 6-10 pages limits. Proper body text font is used.
[ ] Article title is typeset in proper font and initial letters are capitalised.
[ ] Names of all authors are spelled correctly. Each author’s affiliation is accurate and complete, containing institutions, cities and zip/postal codes. Proper font is used.
[ ] Abstract is included. The word “Abstract” in bold font is followed by a period and then continued with a normal 9 point font.
[ ] Text hierarchy is controlled by the sections headings up to max. third level. Proper font formats are used.
[ ] Physical data is quoted with decimal points and negative exponents and arranged as given in the enclosed sample document. Units of physical quantities are given in upright text.
[ ] Figures are all cited in sequential order, all have captions, and follow the detailed guidelines at http://publishing.aip.org/authors/preparing-graphics.
[ ] Tables are all cited in sequential order and all have captions.
[ ] Numbering of figures, tables and equations is fully consistent. All included figures, tables and equations are referenced in body text.
[ ] References are complete, all cited within the body of the paper, and reflect proper style and text formatting. See examples for books, journal papers and conference proceedings supplied with the author templates and documentation.
[ ] Equations have been created with Microsoft Equation Editor or Mathtype (Word® users). All fonts have been embedded. Equations are in numerical order and with global sequential numbering (not within sections level).
[ ] There are no page numbers or headers/footers. These will be added later during the publication process.
[ ] The PDF file is no larger than 10 MB maximum.

STEP 4
(1) Create a PDF file of your manuscript and embed all fonts. To check for font information in pdf file see tutorial e.g. https://blogs.mtu.edu/gradschool/2010/04/27/how-to-determine-if-fonts-are-embedded/
(2) Upload via the Coffee CMM conference system the following items:
– PDF file of your paper
– Signed License to Publish Agreement (please, leave the field “Name(s) of Editor(s)” empty)
– If applicable, copies of permissions to re-use copyrighted materials in your article (e.g., figures from books or journals)
